Overcomers
A victorious life is the result of overcoming the world, the flesh, and the devil—and blessed are the rewards of the overcomer. We have wonderful examples in Scripture of how mere mortals overcame through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. Let us then be encouraged to cooperate with our Saviour’s desire for us to be found among them as well!

Enoch—The Man Who Walked With God
Despite the challenge of living in an era of intense moral corruption on earth, Enoch nonetheless maintained close communion with the God of Heaven—and brought sincere souls to His throne of grace as well. Enoch’s exemplary life shows that we, too, can do the same in this wicked generation, if we only rely on the same omnipotent Source of strength as he did.

A man for the hour: Courageous in crisis, faithful in duty. The experience of Elijah is to be reflected in the lives of God’s people today—to restore the worship of the world’s Creator on the sure foundation of truth and faithful obedience to His all-wise commandments.

The principles that Daniel upheld, the gracious humility with which he conducted himself, and his conscientious attention to seemingly insignificant matters all worked together to make him a man forever admired and appreciated by serious Bible students.

Living a Victorious Life
How can we, like the men we have studied here, have a truly victorious life in Christ? Through an abiding experience with the only Saviour of humanity, we, too, are warmly invited and fervently urged to overcome the world, the flesh, and the devil—for nothing need separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord!
