God’s Final Reinforcement

God’s Final Reinforcement

When something is reinforced, it is further strengthened to not break when it otherwise might naturally tend to snap under extreme pressure.

What about us? Are you feeling especially strong right now, physically, mentally, and spiritually? At this precarious time in history, all believers should be keenly aware of our human frailty and limitations—and our great need of the Almighty One.

God in His mercy knows how much we would benefit from extra fortification right now, so in this year marking the 100th anniversary of the organization of the Seventh Day Adventist Reform Movement, we recognize our need of His final reinforcement to finish the task assigned to the faithful in these last days.

As we humbly gather to assemble for this Special Week of Prayer, we should fervently pray for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in its fullness. This “refreshing” is the marvelous reinforcement promised from Heaven and it is to be graciously provided on simple conditions.

The readings for this Special Week of Prayer outline those conditions and the abundant blessings to be gained from receiving the Holy Spirit in latter rain power.

As we go through these readings on the theme God’s Final Reinforcement with the aim of truly complying with those conditions—open and ready to receive this outpouring—our faith will be richly rewarded. Let us also make it a point to share the great blessing of these readings as well with others who may be isolated or homebound.

May the Lord graciously respond to the heartfelt longing of all who are earnestly seeking this reinforcement and receive His Holy Spirit in latter rain power during this Special Week of Prayer!
