From July 25-31, 2016, the first International Youth Convention in France will be hosted by the French Field Youth Department in partnership with the General Conference, and preparations are well underway.
The Youth Convention will be held at Chapelle d'Abondance in France, and will involve a week of music, recreational activities, and spiritual meetings. The locale of the event boasts beautiful scenery, wide open spaces, and a variety of options for outdoor recreation, from paragliding and the fantasticable, to train rides and mountain hikes. A list of activities that are available at the location is on their website, although we will not be participating in all of them. Organizers are also planning group activities.
Brother Adrian Finaru (General Conference Colporteur Department Director) and Brother Radu Ionita (General Conference Youth Department Director) will be the visiting speakers present at the event.
