A conference was held in Liberia last month. The GC Regional Secretary for Northern Africa, Brother John Bosco, was present as the main speaker for the conference. The topics discussed at the event were:
Health and dress reform
Organization of God's people
Clarification for ordination
History of our fallen world
After those topics were presented, 8 souls were baptized and the re-organization of the Liberia Mission took place.
We praise God for His mercy towards His people in Liberia. During the recent Ebola crisis, we were saddened to lose one brother, but the others continue in health. Also, a church member has offered 2 hectares of land for a church school. Plans to build the school are taking shape.
May God continue blessing the work in Liberia, and let us keep our brethren and the future school in our prayers.
