LONDON, ENGLAND—On December 16, 2017, a group of fourteen volunteers made their way to Wembley Station in London, England. The group was made up of individuals in varying age groups—children, youth, adults—all excited for their mission. Their work for that day was to distribute roses and gifts.
In December, many cities are bustling in preparation for the holidays, especially Christmas. Using the holiday season—a time when people are more receptive to the Gospel—to their advantage, the group of volunteers wrapped hundreds of copies of the book Happiness for Life. Together with roses, 200 books were distributed to passers-by at Wembley Station in London.
The work in the United Kingdom is progressing. In 2017, there were health conferences and cooking classes in London and Doncaster, canvassing campaigns in London and Birmingham, a youth retreat in Wales, and end-of-the-year events in London and Doncaster.
Please keep us in your prayers. We live here in a very secular world but under God’s wings.
