Roanoke, USA—On Sabbath, September 29, 2018, a special Sabbath meetings was held in Roanoke, Virginia, USA. The Council meetings would finish the following day, and this was the last Sabbath with all the Council members present. The special Sabbath was held in a rented church near the GC headquarters.
Over two-hundred brethren were present for the Sabbath meetings. The Sabbath was even more special due to the baptism of two souls who made the decision to dedicate their lives to our Savior and join our church family. May we keep them in our prayers.
The Sabbath rest and fellowship strengthened the brethren to finish the Council meetings on Sunday. The topics discussed by the Council this September will be passed on to the delegation session at next year's General Conference session.
