Mindanao Island, Philippines—Our 1st National Camp Meeting began on the 25th of October, 2018, at Camp Aurora Masbad located on Mindanao Island, Philippines, and ended on November 3. Throughout the event, the average number of attendees at the meetings well exceeded 800 individuals attending from different provinces of the entire country. We also had the pleasure of receiving brethren from Korea.
The guest speakers, Brother Andre Devai, the General Conference Welfare and Stewardship Department Secretary, and Brother John Lausevic, the Australian Union Welfare Secretary, came from Brazil and Australia respectively to be with us. The theme for the event was "Until Christ Be Formed in You". The gathering was led by the Philippine Union Conference's Welfare Department Secretary, Brother Remelito Uy.
Overall, it was a blessed event with time spent in nature and in fellowship with our brethren. We praise God for the opportunity to gather together and pray that this may be the first of many such national camp meetings.
