Balsas, Brazil—In the interior of the Brazilian state of Maranhão, there is a city called Balsas. The Seventh Day Adventist Reform Movement church in Balsas recently underwent much-needed renovations, and to commemorate, the brethren held a re-inauguration conference on June 21-23, 2019.
The conference theme was "Health", and the event had the participation of two guest speakers: Brother Félix, a holistic therapist and naturopath, and Brother Mateus Souza, the field president.
On Sunday, after a busy Sabbath of fellowship and worship, there was a baptism and fellowshipment ceremony officiated by Brother Souza.
May the Lord bless the Balsas church that it may be a light in its community, its congregation that they may be living testimonies of God's love, and the new members in their walk with God.
