Colorado, USA—A health worker’s retreat was held on September 2-6, 2021, in the beautiful mountains of Colorado at the Rampart View Ranch. The focus of the retreat was: “Strengthening the Right Arm.” The retreat was attended by a diverse group of individuals with different health-related specializations and backgrounds. Atendees had the opportunity to share their expertise and experiences, learn from each other, and bond as friends and family in Christ.
Every day began with prayer groups, followed by morning worship. Each worship session focused on one of Christ’s healing miracles.
The topics covered were:

• Suffering, the Path to Joy— a touching and inspiring personal testimony
• The Health Benefits of Music Therapy
• Forest Therapy
• HIIT - When Less is more
• The Benefits of Time-Restricted Eating
• Cryotherapy/Contrast Bathing
• The Happiest People
• Preventative Screenings
and others.
The topics provided knowledge and insight that was beneficial for spiritual, mental, and physical well-being. Some nights saw the atendees around campfires sharing stories and testimonies while enjoying the warmth of the fire that kept the chill of the mountain night air at bay.
The third day of the retreat was for a nature outing and included a trip on the Pike's Peak Cog Railway for breath-taking views of mountains, meadows, imposing rocks, and endless forests before reaching the top of Pike’s Peak at 14,111 feet! This outing was followed by a tour at the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs for scenic views of towering red rock formations surrounded by trees and golden grass and mountains in the background. It was truly an enjoyable outing and a day of appreciation of God’s amazing handiwork!
