Ciudad Real, Spain—The 2023 International Youth Convention took place in Spain, from August 28 to September 3. It was a remarkable gathering of young people from around the world. The event was centered around the theme "Be Transformed by the Renewing of Your Mind," encouraging attendees to embrace personal growth, spiritual development, and positive change.
Global Participation
The convention saw a diverse and multicultural participation of youth from various countries and backgrounds, coming together to strengthen their faith, share experiences, and build lasting friendships. The gathering exemplified the unity of our SDARM community on an international scale.
Guest speakers included Brethren David Zic (GC Education Department), Adrian Finaru (GC Youth Department), and John Baer (GC Medical Missionary Department). After the event, some of the brethren would go to Austria to teach at the missionary school.
The speakers addressed a wide range of topics, from personal growth and spiritual renewal to global mission and community outreach, providing attendees with valuable insights and perspectives.
Worship and Fellowship
The convention included daily seminar studies, and the youth were divided into groups for discussions where attendees could deepen their faith. These moments of worship and fellowship were crucial in fostering a sense of community and shared purpose.

There was also an outing to the windmills of La Mancha, from which all could take in the beautiful views of the grasslands.
It was a transformative and spiritually enriching event that united young people from across the globe. We pray that the Lord continue blessing our youth that they may be drawn closer to Him every day.
