The GC Health Department, through its representatives in all South America, has organized the 5th HEALTH SYMPOSIUM. Brethren who are professionally dedicated to alleviating the woes of suffering humanity, as well as all others who in one way or another work in the area of health are invited to attend.
This event is scheduled for February 25-28, 2019. It will be held at the KAWAI Christian Convention Center, located at Km 88.5, Panamericana Sur, Lima, Perú.
The GC president, GC Regional Secretary for South America, and the GC Health Department Director will be present as well as 25 other health professionals with international experience. During the evenings, a series of spiritual conferences will be presented.
The theme of this symposium can be found in the program attached to this letter. In order for the event to run smoothly, we have established a registration deadline. This is due to the fact that we can only accommodate 180 people. Please, register according to your needs.
1. South Beach Sector (Bungalows with capacity for 5 people per room).
2. Las Brisas Sector (Bungalows with capacity for 1, 4, and 7 people).
NOTE: Please, bring your own toiletries; linens and blankets will be provided.
The lodging registration will be finalized by the symposium organizers based on the order of registration and family size.
The registration fee includes accommodations, food and the bus trip from Lima to Kawai and back to Lima.
On Monday February 25, 2019, we will meet at 7:30 a.m. at our church located at General Vidal Street 1149, Breña, Lima, Peru, to make the trip to the place of the symposium. Those that will arrive after the departure time mentioned above will need to find their own private transportation to go to the Kawai Christian Convention Center.
Those who arrive at the airport or the bus terminal in Lima should communicate their arrival time in advance, by sending a message or calling the following WhatsApp number: +51971511117 (Br. David Chichipe) and +51988444414 (Br. Miguel Álvarez), This brethren of the Peruvian Union are in charge of the transportation, and will pick up the attendees at the place of arrival and transport them to the meeting point.
Please note that lodging and food will be provided only during the days of the meetings. We encourage you to make arrengements ahead if you plan to stay before or after the symposium.
The return to Lima will be on February 20, 2019, at 3:00 p.m. from KAWAI to the church in Breña by bus.
REGISTRATION:
All those wishing to participate and recieve a special discount must register via WhatsApp before December 31, 2018. The amount will be paid at the reception table upon arrival at KAWAI. Those participants who register after December 31, 2018, will have to pay the full amount.

FULL RATE …………….................. $100.00. (US dollars).
Those who arrive at Kawai without prior registration will only be able to spend the night in an assigned area. If space is found at any of the bungalows the full rate will be charge. This system of registration will help us plan properly for all expenses and accomodations, and it will aid us in providing the best for all attendees.

Kawai Christian Convention Center has several kilometers of private beaches, leisure areas for relaxation and swimming pools. For these activities we recommend that you bring swimwear in keeping with guidelines of Christian modesty.
