Turner, Oregon—To be different is what six young people decided to do when they gave their life to the Lord, through baptism on September 5, 2020. We started this journey together almost a year ago, and I can tell you with certainty that this baptismal class was different from any other that the Lord entrusted me with in the past. What impressed was not only the way each student was able to acquire the information that was passed on to them, but at the end the whole class expressed their desire to be baptised.
That afternoon, as they all stepped into the river, there were tears of joy accompanied by their most solemn commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ. Paul says, in Philippians 1:6 “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ” and I am fully confident that this is also true about each of these precious souls.
May the Lord Jesus Christ continue to bless them and that through their testimony others will be encouraged to commit their life to God.
