Dying for a Soda

Poem
Words of Comfort
Eunice Braidman

The pathway may seem dim and dark,

But Jesus Christ will be your light.

Your body may at times feel weak,

But in Him you will find might.

Many storms you may confront,

But your shelter He will be.

Waves may try to sink your ship,

But the Lord will pilot thee.

You may stumble on the way,

But He’ll be there to help you stand.

Things may seem too much to bear,

But He’ll reach out and hold your hand.

The road may lead through many dangers,

But the Lord will guard and guide you.

The path may seem so lonely, long . . .

But He will be there, right beside you.

The Pilgrim’s journey won’t be easy

Give yourself into His care!

Love and strength will e’er enshroud you

While you’re safely hidden there.

It may seem you’ve lost your way,

But ne’er forget the Lighthouse glows—

To guide you through the darkest night

To where the heav’nly river flows.
