In this New Year, try to challenge your brain to think about the minutest details!

Have you ever thought to yourself: How will I spend the next 5 minutes or $5? We often put much thought into large investments or planned vacations, but let the little pieces of our lives slip without a second thought. It seems like our brain is on autopilot, cruising through life! But are we wasting brain matter?

On December 19, 2015, the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Montreal, Quebec, Canada held a special Sabbath for the children of the church. The Sabbath was held in the church building our church rents. The theme of the Sabbath was David and Goliath. The goal was to help the children see how they can overcome their daily challenges and fight their giant problems.

In Cluj Napoca, the second biggest city in the country, our church members gathered to thank the Lord once again for providing their beautiful and spacious church. The opening date was December 17, 1995, when this house was first dedicated to the worship of our God.

Before the 1989 Revolution in Romania, the Seventh Day Adventist Reform Movement Church was intensely persecuted by the communist regime. Members were gathering in private houses, and they were often interrogated or even sent to jail. Praise God! We have raised $8,487.00 for our brethren in Papau New Guinea, surpassing our initial goal of $ 6,600.00 by almost $2,000.

Praise God! We have raised $8,487.00 for our brethren in Papau New Guinea, surpassing our initial goal of $ 6,600.00 by almost $2,000.

During our initial assessment we had hoped to raise at least enough funds for three months supply of food, but we anticipated that there would be a need for up to four months' supply. Surplus donations will go towards meeting this anticipated need. Thank you for your prayers and support. We will keep you updated with the needs of our church family in Papua New Guinea.
