First Sabbath Offering

They come in all shapes and sizes and have become essential technology for the dissemination of information around the world. Since the beginning of the smartphone revolution, these screens have become more personal than ever. Today, well over half of the world’s 8 billion people carry a screen in their pockets, increasingly relying on it to navigate and interact with the world around them. Most notably, these screens have become an ever-personal window into the world—a way to acquire knowledge and “truths” pertinent to the deepest aspects of life. What a great opportunity then, for the gospel of Jesus Christ—the truth most vital to life—to be found there, on the other side of these windows which countless eyes peer through in yearning, every day.21st Missionary is the first media ministry of the SDA Reform Movement in North America. It was founded with the purpose of using modern means of communication to spread the gospel message clearly and effectively. We create and publish on our 21M Church App: digital tracks, podcasts, videos, music, and other multi-media resources, aimed at sharing the gospel of Jesus in ways that are relevant to our times. We are still in the process of building and furnishing our media studio, which will help us tremendously increase this work. Visit www.21stmissionary.org to download our app and learn more about our mission.“Greater light shines upon us than shone upon our fathers. We cannot be accepted or honored of God in rendering the same service, or doing the same works, that our fathers did. In order to be accepted and blessed of God as they were, we must imitate their faithfulness and zeal—improve our light as they improved theirs—and do as they would have done had they lived in our day.”—Testimonies for the Church, vol. 1, p. 262.“Study, plan, devise methods, to reach the people where they are. We must do something out of the common course of things. We must arrest the attention. We must be deadly in earnest.”—Evangelism, pp. 122, 123.The First Sabbath Offering today goes towards finishing our media studio where we produce missionary material. Your generous offering will go a long way to help us continue in the mission of sharing the gospel with the world.
