I will carry books That uplift the cross, that through my presentation Not one soul may be lost.

I will carry books In rain and in snow— That men may hear the everlasting gospel wherever I go.

I will carry books In heartache and pain, So that souls who are lost will be revived again.

I will carry books Until that final day When salvation is consummated, sin is annihilated, Satan is exterminated, the saints are translated, Heaven is repopulat- ed, God the Father and Jesus Christ are celebrated, the earth is recreated . . . Until then . . .
