The address given by the newly-elected President of the General Conference reminds us of God’s call to restore foundational principles such as the marriage institution, the family altar, proper Sabbath observance, the health reform, dress reform, and—above all, the announcement that Christ is coming very soon.

The North American Region

Engaging the Youth

In recent years, the units of the North American Region have seen the tremendous advantages of involving younger people in church activities and outreach events. The talents and energy of the young are a great asset in the Lord’s work in these last days.

Pressing Onward Despite Violence and Poverty

Much of the human suffering that occurs on this planet is found in the Northern African Region. Yet, just as in the rest of the world, the laborers in the Master’s cause must persevere despite whatever the hardship may be. Christ as the Good Shepherd is the One that sustains them.

Evangelism, Literature, and Work Projects

In the Southern African Region, precious souls are open to the three angels’ messages. They are interested in evangelistic messages, they appreciate truth-filled literature, and they value projects and programs that equip them to become more self-sufficient.

The European Region has a rich history and a variety of languages and cultures. As the birthplace of the Protestant Reformation, how fitting it is to reach out to the public with inspired written materials for their thoughtful consideration.

In a complex territory of various nationalities, languages, cultures, and religions, precious souls within the Eurasian Region need much instruction in the present truth to counteract the many theories and philosophies that abound here.

If you have ever wondered where the gospel of Jesus Christ meets with the most rigorous opposition in this generation, you need look no further than the Asian Region. Home to more than half of the world’s population, this section of the Lord’s vineyard is in much need of truth.

The Pacific Region is a vast area composed of the continent of Australia and multitudinous islands. Every kindred, nation, tongue and people must hear the three angels’ messages and evangelism and education are vital in this expansive territory.

Highlights from the Session
